Many of us have heard about fictional animals "Pokemon", and many children have probably already watched the cartoon of the same name. But few people know how dangerous this cartoon is!
In 1997, more than 700 Japanese children received urgent medical attention. After watching the cartoon based on the Pocket Monsters game for Nintendo, they started having seizures.
208 children aged 3 years and older were urgently hospitalized with epileptic symptoms. Experts believe it was caused by the explosion scene and the ensuing 5-second blinking of light in the eye sockets of the rodent-like creature Pikachu.
