1/10 The September 11, 2001 attack was organized by the Americans themselves
There are many conspiracy theories claiming that the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack, when hijacked planes crashed into the famous twin towers of the World Trade Center, was orchestrated by the Americans themselves. It is assumed that the attack was planned by the Bush administration in order to justify the invasion of Iraq, military operations in Afghanistan, etc., as well as to obtain public support for the militarization of the United States.
In 2004, Michael Moore's documentary Farenheit 9/11 was released, where the author of the film investigates the connection between the two generations of the Bush and Bin Ladens. According to the author of the film, there were strong business ties between George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden's father. Former US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, former Vice President Dick Chene and other people from Bush's entourage are suspected of involvement in the events of September 11th.
2/10 Assassination of John F. Kennedy
John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United States, was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas at 12:30 pm local time. The President was fatally wounded by a rifle shot as he and his wife, Jacqueline, rode Elm Street in the presidential motorcade. As a result of the official investigation, Lee Harvey Oswald was charged with the Kennedy assassination, allegedly acting on his own initiative. There are many conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
For example, the CIA, the KGB, the mafia, FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, Richard Nixon, and US Vice President Lyndon Johnson are suspected of involvement in the assassination of the president. It is assumed that the background to the assassination of Kennedy is the state and military interests of the United States.
3/10 Global warming is a consequence of human activities
There are many theories related to global warming, one more interesting than the other. Some researchers suspect that climate change is associated with the testing of a secret American climate weapon, others that it is the intrigues of anti-globalization movements. There are even those who believe that global warming is a conspiracy of scientists who want to get funding for their research.
However, the renowned American meteorologist William Gray states that global warming has nothing to do with human activity, since the human impact on the atmosphere is too small to cause such global changes.
4/10 Princess Diana slain
Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed died in a car crash in one of the tunnels in Paris, trying to hide from the pesky paparazzi. According to the conspiracy theory, this was a murder due to the fact that Princess Diana was about to marry a Muslim, despite the fact that she was the mother of the future head of the church. She was rumored to be pregnant and about to convert to Islam.
The results of opinion polls in the UK and some Arab countries show that most people consider the death of Princess Diana to be a murder orchestrated by the French intelligence service, the royal family, the CIA, the Freemasons or Israel's political intelligence.
5/10 The Americans have not been to the moon
"Lunar conspiracy" - a conspiracy theory, the central idea of which is the assertion that during the "lunar race" during the American space program "Apollo" (1969-1972) no people were landed on the moon, photographs, filming and other documentary materials of lunar expeditions were rigged by the US government.
There is a widespread misconception that the author of the theory is the American writer Bill Kaysing, who published the book We Never Went to the Moon in 1976. However, as shown by polls conducted in 1970 and 1976, the percentage of those who doubted the reality of the landings was high, and before the publication of Kaysing's book, publications questioning them began to appear as early as 1969. And already in 1970, a book by mathematician J. Kraini was published, in which he questioned the fact of the landing.
In his book, Bill Kaysing formulated the main arguments of the lunar conspiracy theory:
- The level of technological development of NASA did not allow sending a man to the moon.
- The absence of stars in photographs from the lunar surface.
- The film of the astronauts had to melt from the midday temperature on the Moon.
- Various optical anomalies in photographs.
- Waving flag in a vacuum.
- Smooth surface instead of craters that should have formed as a result of the landing of lunar modules from their engines.
Since 1996, interest in the lunar conspiracy theory has reappeared, including in Russia. At the same time, in recent years, counter-theories have been expressed about the lunar conspiracy as a cover operation.
Supporters of the "lunar conspiracy" theory argue, in particular, that there are contradictions in the photographs and films about the moon landings, and some even that the implementation of such flights in those years was "technically impossible." The theory states that the United States went to falsification in order to raise its prestige due to its lagging behind the Soviet Union in space achievements in the early 1960s, as well as to distract American citizens from such US war crimes during the Vietnam War, as the mass murder in Songmi and from Operation Phoenix.
6/10 Roosevelt knew of the impending attack on Pearl Harbor
According to the Pearl Harbor attack conspiracy theory, President Roosvelt was informed of the impending attack and did not warn the military leaders in Hawaii in order to declare war on Hitler. At the time, most ordinary Americans and members of Congress were against joining the war in Europe. It is alleged that Roosevelt was warned by the authorities of Great Britain, Australia, Peru, Korea and even the Soviet Union, however, the president did nothing to minimize losses.
7/10 HIV was artificially created
One theory associated with the plague of the twentieth century claims that the human immunodeficiency virus was created by the CIA as a tool of genocide and population control. According to another theory, HIV was created as an experimental biological weapon and then accidentally spread around the world. The virus was allegedly introduced to African Americans and American homosexuals in 1970 under the guise of a hepatitis vaccine. Also, there is a theory that the virus was created and spread in Africa in order to destroy the African population.
8/10 Drugmakers Spread Disease
There is a popular theory that drug companies are deliberately contributing to the spread of diseases and are not deliberately producing truly effective medicines for those diseases. The main goal is to make a profit from the sale of drugs. Pharmaceutical companies are said to be conspiring with scientists to create new diseases that will require new drugs to cure. It is rumored that even the governments of many countries are involved in this scam due to the huge tax revenues from the sale of drugs.
9/10 Chemical Trails
There is a conspiracy theory that airplanes leave not only ordinary contrails in the sky, but also white trails, consisting of dangerous chemical elements. Allegedly, chemicals are deliberately distributed as chemical weapons. Proponents of this theory argue that the so-called "chemtrails" or chemical trails are significantly different from ordinary airplane tracks.
10/10 Total control over the media, industry and political environment in the world
According to this theory, there is a special group of people who control the governments of all countries, as well as information organizations. They rule the world through the banking system, and it is also claimed that this elite is the instigator of all the largest wars in the last 200 years. The theory claims that this group includes bankers, especially the owners of private banks in the Federal Reserve System and other central banks, as well as members of the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and Bildeberg group (Bilderberg Group).
