The Czech Republic can be proud of several "very-very" natural phenomena of the European format at once. One of them lies in the "heart" of the fabulous Czech Switzerland. The symbol of this region, the Pravcické Gate, is the largest natural arch in all of Europe. The monumental dimensions of this formation are stunning (height - 16 m, width - 26.5 m, depth - 3 m) and inspire true reverence.
Unfortunately, since 1982, the passage through the rocky gate has been closed due to severe erosion. However, beautiful views of this unique creation of nature can be admired from several viewing platforms located nearby, and right under the Pravchitsky Gate there is a small romantic castle-hotel "Falcon's Nest", built in 1881, so travelers tired from the road can rest in comfort
